Imperial Arcade – Still Open, Still Fabulous
We had a quick catch-up with the lovely folks at Handmaiden Huddersfield earlier. They’re stocked up to the rafters with gorgeous fresh flowers – perfect if you’re picking something up for the weekend.
💡 Tip: While the top entrance to the arcade is currently blocked, you can still pop in via the bottom entrance.
So if you’re out and about, do head down and show some love to the independent businesses in the Arcade. Every bit of support helps – and trust us, they’re eager to welcome you in!

The International Market – A Taste of the World in Huddersfield
Now, if you’re a foodie – this one’s for you!
The International Market has landed in town with over 40 stalls bringing flavours from Europe and beyond. From Moroccan tagines to foot-long fries, from Indian street food to continental desserts – it’s a sensory overload in the best way possible.
We did a quick walkthrough earlier (we were very hungry), and the smells alone will draw you in. There’s live music, vibrant energy, and something for everyone.
The market runs through until Saturday evening, so get down while it’s still on. Check out the Huddersfield BID website for full timings and details.
HuddersFeast – Food, Fun and Live Entertainment
And if you’re still hungry after that – head over to HuddersFeast at the Open Market (by Tesco) this evening. Expect a brilliant mix of world street food, entertainment, and a lovely community vibe.
Honestly – you could make a proper day of it by visiting both markets and soaking up the sunshine while it’s here.
Turntable Coffee, Chipway Opening & Sunny Vibes
Quick shoutout to Turntable Coffee & Vinyl – looking super busy today, with every outdoor seat taken by folks enjoying a brew in the sun. And yes – we’ve all got our eyes peeled for the opening of Chipway on King Street too. They’re passionate about their food, and we can’t wait to get our hands on a plate!
