Why We Created Hudd Show Live: Celebrating Positivity in Huddersfield!
Back in September 2023, amidst a backdrop of challenging headlines and negative news cycles, we noticed something important—Huddersfield needed more positivity, celebration, and recognition of all the fantastic things our town has to offer. Driven by passion for our community and funded entirely by ourselves, we launched Hudd Show Live, a livestream dedicated solely to shining a spotlight on the incredible events, inspiring businesses, and wonderful stories that make Huddersfield such a special place.
The idea behind Hudd Show Live was simple yet powerful: to create a platform that consistently highlights the positivity and vibrant community spirit that’s often overlooked. We wanted to focus on the good news, uplifting stories, and the countless reasons to feel proud of Huddersfield. Since our first broadcast, we have showcased amazing local businesses, supported community projects, celebrated sporting achievements, and promoted lively entertainment and cultural events.
For us, Hudd Show Live is more than just a broadcast—it’s a passion project aimed at nurturing community pride and encouraging local engagement. It’s about reminding everyone that, despite challenges, there’s always something wonderful happening right on our doorstep.
We now broadcast three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:30 PM—to keep the positivity flowing and to make sure you never miss a reason to smile. Thank you for supporting us on this exciting journey. Let’s keep celebrating everything good about our amazing town!
